UPDATES ON THE 22ND AND PARK AVENUE WEST SITE
New details have emerged for a Chicago-based developer’s plans for a 25-story residential project on an entire block of Stout Street downtown. Located along Stout Street between 22nd Street and Park Avenue West, the project has three towers rising from a shared two-story podium with parking and commercial space. The site is 1.15 acres, and the buildings would equal 923,524 square feet with parking.
Plans show that the buildings will have a total of 886 dwelling units; 108 two-bedroom, 496 one-bedroom and 282 units that are convertible — another name for a studio unit that comes with a separate area for a bed. The new building would have 558 parking spaces, with four levels of underground parking and one level above the ground-floor lobby and retail spaces.
The building has ample amenities on the third level, including a pool and pool deck between the first and second towers, and an amenity deck between the second and third towers.
UPDATE ON THE BUS TERMINAL LOT AND MORE.
Demolition of a former bus terminal started last month at 22nd and California Streets, the site of CMK’s proposed 659-unit project with two 25-story towers. Meanwhile, the company has also proposed a 37-story high-rise at 21st and Lawrence Streets with 500 residential units.
The El Paso bus station at 22nd and California has been demolished in preparation for a new 25 story apartment tower with 646 units plus some office and high end retail spaces.
